Weekly Schedule

Monday: Start working on new videos

Tuesday: Continue working on videos

Wednesday: Deliver finished videos

Thursday: Work on any final revisions

Friday: Receive the details for the next week's videos

Summary: This role is designed for experienced video editors who already have other clients
but want predictable extra income without taking on a heavy workload.

We're hiring one high-quality video editor to create 1 short-form video ad per week (30–60 seconds) for Facebook and Instagram.

THE SETUP
- Workload: 4 video ads per month
- Pay: $100–$200 per video (based on quality and consistency)
- Total: $400–$800/month
- Fully async, no meetings, no fixed hours
- Keep all your other clients; this is meant to fit around them

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
Each video has one clear objective: get viewers to book a free LASIK consultation.
You’ll collaborate with our copywriter (brief + script provided) and focus on:
- Strong clip selection (real footage and AI-generated clips)
- Clear visual storytelling
- Performance-driven editing that prioritizes results over aesthetics

AI VIDEO GENERATION
We are actively experimenting with AI video generation mainly for hooks.
- Experience with AI video tools is a plus, not required
- You must be comfortable learning quickly
- We will provide free access to an AI video generation subscription
- Use AI clips when they make sense and combine them with strong editing fundamentals

WHAT WE CARE ABOUT
We optimize for ad performance/conversion.
If a simple video with basic captions beats a cinematic polished edit, the simple video wins.
We want someone who:
- Has strong editing fundamentals
- Knows when something looks “off”
- Understands pacing, hooks, and attention patterns
- Can turn a creative brief into an effective ad

NICHE (SIMPLE & REPEATABLE)
- Product: LASIK eye surgery
- Audience: 18–45-year-olds tired of glasses and contacts
- Benefit: One niche, one offer, repeatable structures
(No prior LASIK knowledge needed.)

PERFORMANCE UPSIDE
- KPI: ~20% of videos become winning ads
- Bonus: $300 per winning ad (criteria being finalized)
